NIT Kurukshetra - National Institute of Technology Fees

The NIT Kurukshetra M.Tech application fees vary by the route chosen. If students are applying through CCMT counseling, they have to pay INR 3000 as a participation charge. IF students are applying through GATE, they have to pay the GATE application fee.

There is no separate fee for the NIT Kurukshetra application. Students have to fill out the JEE Mains registration form and pay the registration fee of the same to apply for BTech programme at NIT Kkr. 

Their is only a minor difference in the tuition fee for the courses offered by NIT Kurukshetra and NIT Silchar. Both institutes offer the same scholarships as each other.

NIT Silchar offers more specialisations of M.Tech the NIT Kurukshetra hence the M.Tech feescan differ. However, among the common specialisations of M.Tech between the aforementioned institutes, the difference isalmost negligable. Candidates can look at the table below formore information:

If we compare the tuition fees of NIT Hamirpur, NIT Kurukshetra and NIT Rourkela we will see that NIT Hamirpur and NIT Kurukshetra are the most affordable. They have similar total tuition fees of INR 1.4 Lacs for an MBA. Whereas, NIT Rourkela total tuition fee is INR 4 lakh.

Having said that, NIT Rourkela offers the most amount of MBA seats out of the three NITs, as it offers 75 seats compared to 40 and 53 seats for NIT Hamirpur and NIT Kurukshetra, respectively.
