There is no separate fee for the NIT Kurukshetra application. Students have to fill out the JEE Mains registration form and pay the registration fee of the same to apply for BTech programme at NIT Kkr.

To apply for BTech programme at NIT Kurukshetra, students have to fill the JoSAA counseling registration form. The deadline of JoSAA registration is in June. Students are required to visit the official JoSAA site and register.

NIT Kurukshetra, Haryana offers a range of UG, PG & PhD level courses. MBA is offered at the PG level. The course fee for MBA programme is INR 1.4 Lacs & that for MCA ranges between INR 2.1 Lacs to 6 lakhs.

National Institute of Technology is public institute in Kurukshetra, Haryana. NIRF has ranked it 85 under "Engineering" category in 2025. The  the highest package offered during 2025 placements was INR 63.12 LPA. A total of 827 students were placed during placements. The institute a number of scholarships like OP Jindal Engineering and Management Scholarship is given to the first three toppers (Engineering) and the first ten (Management) on the basis of performance during the whole course. Overall it is a very good institute.
