The maximum JEE Main rank required for admission at NIT Meghalaya would depend on the category, branch, and round. The NIT Meghalaya cutoff 2026 was published for round 1 for different Al and HS quota categories. 

For the General AI category, the highest round 1 cutoff was 49335 for the B.Tech. in Civil Engineering programme. See the table below to know the round 1 the highest rank for all other categories.

 NIT Meghalaya JEE Main cutoff 2026 was published for the first round for admission to several BTech course specialisations. The cutoff was published for different AI and HS quota categories. 

For the General AI category, the round 1 cutoff for the BTech CSE branch was 23809. Students can see the table below to know the cutoff for all other categories.

As per the round 3 of JEE Main cutoff 2025, it is possible to get admission to NIT Raipur with a rank of 45000 in JEE Main. The cutoff for the General AI category candidates was closed at 22131 and 48977. Looking at the cutoff range, it was evident that getting admission at 45000 rank is possible, among the General AI category candidates.

NIT Meghalaya cutoff 2025 has been released for the round 1. The cutoff has been released for admission to BTech and BArch courses, on the basis of JEE Main scores. The cutoff was released for different categories belonging to the All India and Home State quotas. Among the General AI category candidates, the cutoff ranks varied between 22131 and 48977. The  most desired course among the General AI category candidates was BArch. In the BTech specialisations, the most desirable specialisation turned out to be CSE.

For 2025 admission, the Round 1 closing ranks varied between 1384 and 1686 for the students belonging to the General AI quota. Of all the MSc specialisations, the one with the lowest cutoff rank of 1384 was the MSc in Mathematics. For other specialisations along with their GATE CCMN first-round closing ranks, check out the table provided below:

NIT Meghalaya is a public technical university established in Shillong, Meghalaya, India in 2010. The National Institute of Technology (NIT) Meghalaya accepts GATE scores for admission to its M. Tech courses. The GATE cutoff for NIT Meghalaya varies depending on the year and the specialization. The closing scores in the last round of the GATE cutoff 2024 ranged from 398 to 352 in the General AI category. The last round closing rank for M. Tech ranged from 356 to 424. The minimum GATE cutoff 2023 for M. Tech in CSE was 356. A score range of 600 to 700 is considered to be a good score.

The NIT Meghalaya JEE Mains Cutoff 2024 was released for Round 1. The Cutoff ranks were released for different categories for various BTech specialisations. For the SC AI category candidates, the Cutoff for various courses ranged between 3059 and 7043, among which Computer Science and Engineering was the most competitive course. BTech in Civil Engineering was the least competitive course, for the SC AI category candidates.

For the ST AI category candidates, the Cutoff ranged between 974 and 2652, for different specialisations. BTech in CSE was the most competitive course while BTech in Mechanical Engineering was the least competitive on

The NIT Meghalaya GATE Cutoff 2024 has been released for Round 1. The Cutoff scores ranged between 352 and 492. The most competitive course was CSE among all. The Cutoff score for CSE was 492, for the General AI category candidates. Therefore, candidate with the Cutoff score of 450 cannot get M.Tech in CSE at NIT Meghalaya. 

For the OBC AI category candidates, the most competitive course was CSE with the Cutoff of 423. Therefore candidate falling under OBC AI category getting a score of 450 can get M.Tech in CSE at NIT Meghalaya.

The NIT Meghalaya GATE Cutoff 2024 has been released for Round 1. The Cutoff scores for various M.Tech courses ranged between 352 and 492, for the General AI category candidates. The Cutoff score of CSE, the most competitive course, stood at 492. Therefore, candidates with the Cutoff score of 500 can get M.Tech in CSE at  NIT Meghalaya.
