I'll prefer you to opt for the IIIT Raipur as this is better than NIT Raipur in terms of infra and faculty as IIIT is new so they are at advance level. So, you can get all the advance components required for the CSE branch and also the faculty here is well qualified as compared to NIT.

Minimum 50% required in class 12th with Mandatory Subject : Mathematics.
Admission is through counselling based on the rank obtained in JEE Mains.

For getting admission in a good college, you have to qualify JEE Mains first and then after your performance in that exam will decide whether you will get a good college or not. Good luck.

In my opinion, both institutes are great but if you ask for choosing any 1 between them then I will choose NIT-Raipur for CSE branch.

I would prefer you to go with University of Hyderabad, as the placements are really good and even the campus infrastructure would be comfortable.

I am afraid NIT's do not give admission based on lateral mode. For getting admission in NIT's you need to appear for and clear JEE Mains with good marks.

To get admissions in NITR, you should have got marks in range of 150-180 if you belong to general category. To get a better branch as per last year records available on JOSAA website. But since it is a new NIT. So, it might be possible that you get admission on little less marks than mention above.
