To get admission at NIT Sikkim, candidates muat have certain percnetile in the course they want to apply. Candidate are eligible for further entrance exams and counselling process, once they qualify the eligibility criteria of NIT Sikkim, which are as follows:

The total fee for the BTech programme at NIT Sikkim is INR 49,500. Total fee is calculated based on annual/ semester fee available for the academic year, hence is indicative. ST/SC & PH students are fully exempted from paying tuition fees, while the most economically backward students (whose family income is less than INR 1 Lacs per annum) are granted full remission of the tuition fee. Other economically backward students, whose family income falls between INR 1 Lacs to 5 Lacs per annum, are granted a remission of 2/3rd of the tuition fee.

The comparison between the costs of studying at IUST and NIT Srinagar is not straightforward, as the fees for both institutions are not the same. However, as on Mar 7, 2023, NIT Jalandhar recorded 73.79% placement rate in the academic year 2022-2023. The overall the highest and average package offered during the NIT Jalandhar placement 2023 stood at INR 51 LPA and INR 12.44 LPA, respectively.
On the other hand Around 95-98% of students got placed in our college. The salary package offered ranges between 2 LPA - 5 LPA. And the highest Packages Offers at GNA University - Rs. 26 Lakhs.
But it only depends on your study, how you put your efforts in study, learning new things, make ourself better. But in my opinion National Institute of Technology, Jalan

As per the NIRF report 2024, a total of 31 MTech students graduated in 2023. Out of these, 20 were placed during 2023 placements. This makes the placement rate almost 65%. Earlier, out of 34 MTech graduates 12 were placed during 2022 placements. This makes the placement rate 35%. From 2021 to 2023, a fluctuating trend was recorded in the MTech placement rate.
