The cut-offs for NITT for MBA generally range from 85 to 89%. So, you have chances of getting NITT for an MBA.

There is no specific cutoff as such, it varies every year depending on the how many students apply, any student who has a valid score can apply to NIT Trichy. If you are shortlisted, your admission will be based on your subsequent performance in GDPI.

The best chemical department in all of the NIT present in India. That being said, I would like to suggest you that you should only take up chemical engineering if you are passionate about the field and not considering the placement as a factor of your choice. Chemical course at NIT, Tiruchirappalli would be a fun course for you as any other student of the college. The college managers to have a total batch placement percentage of 100% and almost every student gets placed at which level company he wishes to be placed at. A lot of core companies also visit the campus and are offering high paying jobs with nothing less than Rs 6 to Rs 7 L

Students placed was 95 percent. For the Civil department, it was 95 percent for in 2016 and a whopping record of 100 percent in 2017. The major talked about companies that come for recruiting are names like Volvo, Larsen and Turbo, DRDO, Hindustan Copper, Sterlite Industry, HAL, Tata chemicals, Bajaj, Birla Cellulose and Raymond, Arvind Group. Last year, total percentage of students placed across all branches was 96.7 percent. Coming to ICE department, the placement percentage was a bit more than the overall percentage and stood at 96.9 percent. It is worth mentioning that the placement was 100% for ICE in 2014 and 2015. The major roles offered were in core, IT and management. Students should keep in mind that profile of job is also of utmost importance as much as the pay because the experience you get in a particular profile shapes your future career.
