NIT does not allow admissions through Diploma.

NITT and NITK both can be considered for B.Tech as they are constantly on the top of the list. You can go through the syllabus of both the colleges and decide.

Teaching is like any other government college with exception of few good teachers.
Placements are pretty good in percentage, but packages depend on capability of individual students.

However, IIT-Patna is better.

To get admission into any NIT for engineering or architecture you need to write JEE main exam only.
For engineering you need to write JEE main paper 1 and for architecture paper 2.
Only if you have a good score and a top rank you can get NIT, Trichy or else you can get other NITs or GFTIs for archit

No, your score in JEE is quite less to get admission in NIT Trichy, so I would suggest you to take admission in some other private college.
