Hi Sachin,
Most colleges have a different provision for admission. You need to contact the institute officials personally for specific admission details as it differs from one college to another.
Hope this information helps. Please feel free to revert.

Hi Shivam,
JEE Main Paper 2 is conducted for admissions to B.Arch/B.Planning courses at NITs, and other Centrally Funded Technical Institutions. JEE Mains paper 2 is based on both drawing and maths skills , it has a math section (level is same as the jee mains paper 1) and a sketching and 3D interpretation section. The rank you obtain in paper 2 is independent of the paper 1 rank. The exam, like the paper 1 is conducted by CBSE and helps you secure an admission in SPAs ( School of Planning and Architecture) and the B.Arch courses in NITs. ( SPA Delhi is considered the best in the country).

Hey Ashutosh,
You have very good marks in JEE as well as in your board exams. You may get a seat in NIT but that depends on the applications as well as the cutoff. You should go for counselling. Also it is suggested to have some alternate plans because as sometimes you may get the college but not your preferred streams. You can consider colleges like BITS, SRM and Lovely Professional University.

But if you are looking for studying MBA for a low fess then this will be the better option because for IP, fees is very high as compared to here. Since the other options are private collèges, they will be having their own advantages. There will be more exposure in private colleges. The batch strength of the current passing out batch in NITW is 50. From that almost 30 are placed in companies like TCS, Tech Mahindra ,Axis Bank. The average packages are around 4 lakh to 8 lakh per annum depending upon the companies. So NITW can be weighted as an average college for management studies. Faculties are good and have helping mind. Exposure will be less in NITW because private college does more activities and provides more exposure.
