National Law Universities (NLUs) in India, known for their strong legal education programs, typically attract a wide range of recruiters from various sectors, including law firms, corporate houses, government organizations, and more. However, companies like Wipro and Infosys, which are renowned in the technology and IT services industry, are not traditionally considered top recruiters at NLUs.

Admission to the B.A., LL.B. (Hons.) Degree Programme at the National Law School of India University (NLSIU) is purely on the basis of merit as assessed through the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) administered by the Consortium of National Law Universities. Similarly, other National Law Universities (NLUs) also admit students to their B.A. LL.B. programs based on the CLAT or other specified entrance exams. Therefore, clearing the national-level entrance exam is a mandatory requirement for admission to the B.A. LL.B. (Hons.) Degree Programme at NLUs.
