NLU Kolkata admits students to its BA LLB Hons course based on CLAT scores. As per official sources, up till now, the Consortium of NLUs has released the first seat allotment result for 2026. The CLAT 2026 third allotment list is expected to be published on Feb 5, 2026. Once the results are out, students participating in the admission process must go the official website to check it.

NLU Kolkata accepts the CLAT entrance exam for admission to its BA LLB (Hons) and BSc LLB (Hons) courses at the UG and LLM courses at the PG level. For the students belonging to the OBC category under the Home State quota, the CLAT last round closing rank for the B.A. LL.B. (Hons.) was 6624, while for the BBSc. LLB. (Hons.) in Criminology and Forensic course, the cutoff rank was 10560. Similarly, for the LLM course, the maximum cutoff rank was 3641.
