National Law University, Ranchi select candidates for admission to its LLM programme based on merit in CLAT. The aspirants with a valid integrated law course/LLB degree passed with at least 55% aggregate can register to take the test. The application form can be filled out through the CLAT official website. After CLAT result announcement, the cutoff rank is announced. Candidates who meet the NLU Ranchi LLM CLAT cutoff have to participate in the CLAT counselling to secure a seat. After the seat allotment, selected students have to report to the university and pay the admission fee for seat confirmation.

National University of Study and Research In Law (NUSRL) Ranchi LLM course admission is entrance-based. The aspirants are selected based on CLAT scores. Candidates who meet the cutoff score become eligible for participation in counselling. Further, based on CLAT score and counselling, the seat allotment process is carried out.

Yes, NUSRL is a good university for LLM course aspirants. National University of Study and Research in Law, Rachi is ranked #22 in the NIRF 2024 rankings in the law category. The university also provide placements support to the candidates. As per the media reports, the overall the highest package in 2023 stood at INR 16 LPA. Moreover, as per NUSRL NIRF report 2023, the median package offered in 2022 was INR 6 LPA.

NLU Ranchi admissions for UG and PG courses opens with CLAT registration. CLAT applications are usually open in July and go on till October. Candidates have to apply for CLAT online. There is no deadline released for PhD course. Once the applications are open, candidates can apply for PhD on the official website of NLU Ranchi.

Students wishing to apply for scholarship at NLU Ranchi can download the form from the university website. Students from whom applications are not received within the stipulated time are not considered for award of any scholarship. Students must enclose the scholarship with income certificate (duly verified by CSC) disclosing the total income of the family/ guardian of the applicant.

NLU Ranchi offers three courses at UG, PG and doctoral levels. The university offers BA LLB (Hons) at the UG and LLM at the PG level. Candidates must complete a minimum of Class 12 for UG and graduation for PG programmes. Admission to both UG and PG courses is based on CLAT score. The university is also expected to begin BBA LLB (Hons) and PG Diploma programmes in the coming session.

Besides, candidates must also pass CLAT for admission in LLM programme. One must also hold the documents proving their eligibility for verification at the time of admission.

NUSRL Ranchi offers a wide range of law courses. It accepts the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) score to select candidates. The consortium of NLUs releases the cutoffs for admissions to various law courses in different NLUs. According to the NLU Ranchi CLAT cutoff 2024 for the Fifth Round of Allotment, the Last Round ranks for the General AI category for BA LLB(Hons) and LLM in Intellectual Property Rights were in 1594 and 1623, respectively. Similarly, for the OBC AI category, the Last Round was 3005 and 3234, respectively, for both courses. For more cutoff-related information, click here.

Yes, NLU Ranchi offers one-year LLM programme. Candidates who have passed LLB/ five-year integrated BA LLB/ any other equivalent exam with minimum of 55% aggregate can apply for NLU Ranchi LLM course. The selection for LLM course is based on CLAT exam. Once the entrance exam is completed, the selected aspirants are called for CLAT Counselling.
