NLU Ranchi (NUSRL) - National University of Study and Research In Law

Students wishing to apply for scholarship at NLU Ranchi can download the form from the university website. Students from whom applications are not received within the stipulated time are not considered for award of any scholarship. Students must enclose the scholarship with income certificate (duly verified by CSC) disclosing the total income of the family/ guardian of the applicant. 

NLU Ranchi offers three courses at UG, PG and doctoral levels. The university offers BA LLB (Hons) at the UG and LLM at the PG level. Candidates must complete a minimum of Class 12 for UG and graduation for PG programmes. Admission to both UG and PG courses is based on CLAT score. The university is also expected to begin BBA LLB (Hons) and PG Diploma programmes in the coming session.

Candidates need to pass LLB or a five-year integrated BA LLB/ any other equivalent exam with a minimum of 55% aggregate to apply for NLU Ranchi LLM course. Besides, candidates must also pass CLAT for admission in LLM programme. One must also hold the documents proving their eligibility for verification at the time of admission.

NUSRL Ranchi offers a wide range of law courses. It accepts the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) score to select candidates. The consortium of NLUs releases the cutoffs for admissions to various law courses in different NLUs. According to the NLU Ranchi CLAT cutoff 2024 for the Fifth Round of Allotment, the Last Round ranks for the General AI category for BA LLB(Hons) and LLM in Intellectual Property Rights were in 1594 and 1623, respectively. Yes, NLU Ranchi offers one-year LLM programme. Candidates who have passed LLB/ five-year integrated BA LLB/ any other equivalent exam with minimum of 55% aggregate can apply for NLU Ranchi LLM course. The selection for LLM course is based on CLAT exam. Once the entrance exam is completed, the selected aspirants are called for CLAT Counselling.
