NMIMS Hyderabad Admission to the MBA programme is done on the basis of performance of the canididate in NMAT entrance exam, Academic performance, work experience (preferred), and Psychometric test or Written Analytic test along with personal Interview.
The admission process is purely merit-based and the decision regarding cut off of the merit list will only be taken by NMIMS. Candidates who clear the cutoff will be allotted seats on the basis of the merit secured, their preferences of campus and availability of seats.

To apply for NMIMS Hyderabad MBA, candidates must apply for NMAT by GMAC by following the steps below:
- Visit the official website of NMAT
- Click the button reading 'Register for NMAT by GMAC'
- Enter the required details to create an MBA account and click on 'Create Account'
- Login using the credentials receivedon registered email
- Click on the button reading 'NMAT by GMAC Dashboard'
- Fill in the required details
- Add school preferences followed by adding some additional details about other MBA exams.
- Review all the details filled in the NMAT application form, followed by payment of NMAT registration fee

To be eligible for NMIMS Hyderabad MBA, the candidate must have completed graduation with a minimum 55% aggregate from any stream and class 12 with a minimum 50% aggregate.

The list of documents required at the time of MBA admission is given below:
- Class 10 Mark sheet and Passing Certificate
- Class 12 Mark sheet and Passing Certificate
- Degree Mark sheet, separately for each semester/ trimester. Only if separate marksheets are not issued by the University/ Institute consolidated mark sheets will be accepted.
- Degree Certificate
- Provisional Degree certificate/ PassingCertificate
- Post Graduate Degree Marksheet, wherever applicable
