The mode of study for NMIMS Hyderabad courses is full-time. To apply for various course admissions, candidates are required to fill eligibility and selection criteria set by the college. NMIMS Hyderabad scholarships are offered to meritorious students. Central Sector Scheme of scholarships for college and university offers financial support to economically weaker students from general, SC, and ST communities to meet their basic expenses while pursuing higher studies. This scholarship is valid for students securing above 80 percentile in class 12 or equivalent and has a family income of less than INR 6 lakh per annum. The rate of scholarship is INR 1,000 per month at the graduation level for the first three years and INR 2,000 per month at the post-graduation level. Students pursuing professional courses will get INR 2,000 per month in the 4th and 5th years. The scholarship is paid for 10 months in an academic year.

NMIMS-NPAT (NMIMS Programs After Twelfth) is an entrance exam conducted by SVKM’s NMIMS for admission to BBA, BTech, BSc, BCom, BDes, MBA (Technology) and other integrated courses offered by different schools of NMIMS at Mumbai, Shipur, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Navi Mumbai, Indore and Dhule. This entrance exam is conducted across 49 cities at multiple centres.
The University conducts no entrance for admission to its law programmes namely, BA LLB (Hons) and BBA LLB (Hons). It accepts national-level entrances i.e. CLAT for admission to these programmes. Eligible candidates must have a valid score in these to get admission.
