No, participation in student organizations, clubs or associations is voluntary, based on interest of students. Northeastern University provides various students organizations, clubs or associations. There is no compulsion to join any of these.

For UG courses admission, the applicants should have completed high school and have a GPA of 2.5 or above. The university is test optional for SAT/ACT scores. On the other hand, to take admission to graduate courses, the applicants must have a Bachelor's degree with a UG GPA of 2.75 or better. Some courses may also require 3.0 or higher. A few of the documents required to apply to this university are letters of recommendation, academic transcripts, statement of purpose, English language proficiency score, etc.
