The University of Stavanger provided free education to all local and international students in some courses until 2023. However, from 2023, the Norwegian government has necessitated tuition fees on some courses for international students. The average fees range from INR 1248 to INR 1449 for selected courses.
As far as free education is concerned, no domestic or international students can study for free at the university. This is because even if the student (s) get a tuition fee waiver, they will be required to pay the semester fee. i.e. 900 NOK.
