Hi Sunny,
The selection process will be organised in two different rounds. Firstly candidates have to clear the preliminary examination. After that, shortlisted candidates will have to appear for the final examination workshop.
The essential qualification for NSD are:
You should be a graduate in any stream from a recognised university in India or abroad.
Participation in at least 6 theater productions.
Working knowledge of Hindi & English.
The NSD Admission Test will check the acting skills and aptitude of the candidate. The questions shall be related to aptitude and acting skills.

Well, Fist Of all its all depends on your age… Second Time if you want to join the national school of drama with the job that means you need minimum one-year minimum experienced with minimum six plays certificate in the theatre so that you can qualified entry level…. To get selected for National School of Drama, you should initially have a graduation degree from a recognized university along with the participation in at least 6 theatre productions. One should also have knowledge of Hindi and English.
For final selection, an expert committee constituted by the school will assess the aptitude and talent of the candidates & its decision will be final.
To receive the application form and prospectus, please write to The Academic Section, National School of Drama, Bahawalpur House, Bhagwandas Road, New Delhi – 110001 along with a crossed Demand Draft, payable at Delhi, of Rs. 225.

Here is the Eligibility Criteria to get into NSD:
Graduation in any subject from a recognized university in India and abroad
Participation in at least 6 theatre productions
Working knowledge of Hindi and English
Age limit: Minimum 20 years maximum 30 years (as on July 1, 2014)
Selection Criteria
An expert committee constituted by the School will assess the aptitude and talent of the candidates and its decision will be final.
A preliminary test/audition will be conducted at five centres, Delhi, Kolkata, Bengaluru, Mumbai and Guwahati
The candidates qualifying in this test will have to attend a workshop of 4 or 5 days in the NSD premis

Toughness depends on your skills and talent. However essential qualifications are:
1. Graduate in any subject from a recognised University in India or abroad.
2. Participation in at least 6 productions.
3. Working knowledge of Hindi & English.
Medium of instruction: Hindi / English
Age Limit as on 1.7.2015 Minimum 20 years Maximum 30 years. The upper age limit is relaxed able by 5 years for SC / ST candidates only.
