Hi Sachin,
Following is the eligibility criteria to take admission in NSD:
Qualification: Candidates must hold a graduation degree in any stream from any recognised university or college. Theater Work: Candidates must have participated in a minimum of six theatre productions.

I haven't participated in any theater or any drama till date and I'm completing my 12th this year. Can I apply for National School of Drama?

Hi Stuti!
No, you are not eligible to apply for NSD right now. You need to be a graduate first. Also, in order to qualify for the course, you should have participated in at least 6 theatre productions. A working knowledge of Hindi and English language is a must.

You can crack NSD if you really have the will and passion to be a part of it. You should have a good practical experience in Theater. Be it performing in different plays, working with different kind of directors, work at as different places with different people . That will enhance your experience i

Hi. A lot birthday wishes to you. Yes, you can apply for acting course. National School of Drama, Delhi may be the best choice for you. If you want to move Mumbai or Pune, there are acting institutions. You may opt anyone.

IT IS VERY DIFFICULT.
Every year around start of May, the application process starts, and the interviews are in June end. (Approximately, because the dates change as per the administration's convenience, please keep a check on the website for this)

National School of Drama (NSD) is an autonomous organization under the Ministry of Culture.
Eligibility for NSD Admission:
You should be graduate in any stream from a recognized university in India.
Your age must be between 21 to 40 years as on 1st august 2013.
You must have experience in theat

The selection process will be organised in two different rounds. Firstly candidates have to clear the preliminary examination. After that, shortlisted candidates will have to appear for the final examination workshop.
