Eligibility for NSD Courses:
Graduate in any subject from a recognized University.Proficiency in Hindi and English.Active participation in at least 6 plays or in any other theatre related activity. All applications must be accompanied by copies of testimonials and certificates etc.The applicant's age should be between 18 to 30 years. The upper age limit is relaxed by five years for candidates belonging to SC/ST categories.
i have got no further information for ba or bsc. apologies for that

Since you have already done many stage performances, I am sure you would have understood the nuances of stage acting very well. I appreciate the part that you want to refine your skills. NSD will surely give you that opportunity to become a fine actor.
In order to join NSD, you should fulfil the below-mentioned eligibility criteria:
1. Candidate must have completed Graduation in any subject from a recognized university in India or abroad.
2. Must have participated in at least 6 theatre productions.
3. Must have a working knowledge of Hindi and English.

Hi Om!
You can pursue graduation in any field. There is no limitation on the discipline to be chosen for graduation. you can opt for any field. But please note, you must have participated in at least 6 theatre productions in order to fulfil the admission criteria.

Hi Avi!
NSD provides Diploma in dramatics for which you should be a graduate first. Also, you should have done at least 6 theatre productions in order to qualify for the same. The forms of NSD were made available in the month of March. If you think you qualify the eligibility criteria, you can apply now.

Hi Sachin,
Following is the eligibility criteria to take admission in NSD:
Qualification: Candidates must hold a graduation degree in any stream from any recognised university or college. Theater Work: Candidates must have participated in a minimum of six theatre productions.
Age Limit: The minimum age limit is 18 years and a maximum of 30 years as or on July 1, 2018. Five year age relaxation will be prescribed for the SC/ST candidates.

Hi Stuti!
No, you are not eligible to apply for NSD right now. You need to be a graduate first. Also, in order to qualify for the course, you should have participated in at least 6 theatre productions. A working knowledge of Hindi and English language is a must.

You can crack NSD if you really have the will and passion to be a part of it. You should have a good practical experience in Theater. Be it performing in different plays, working with different kind of directors, work at as different places with different people . That will enhance your experience in a way. NSD specifically mentions that you need to have performed at least 6 theater plays in order to be eligible to apply for the said course. They conduct an audition as a qualifying test.
