Each and everyone who are doing any course from National school of drama, they want to be an actor after the completion of course. But, totally depend on your capabilities, talent and market scenario. So, that institute can't take guarantee for the same. But surely, after the course you can apply in film industry as well as broadcasting one. You can work for serials, documentaries, theater etc.

National School of Drama is the place where one can go and pursue a course,not just in acting but in Direction and other domains as well. Right from Script to Stage Sets and from MakeUp to Lights and Sounds Management, all is a part of the Drama Courses.
other than NSD,Punjab University Chndigadh, also has their reputed Theatre Department.
NSD offers Three Year Diploma in Dramatic Arts and that is the MOST Reputed Acting Course in the country.

To get into acting and film industry, you must have knowledge of your desired fields such as, if you want to act, you must have training in acting from any reputed college such as SRPA NSD FTII SRFTI and many more, and there are other fields, as well to get into film industry like direction production sound editing cinematography, all these fields have proper courses. Qualification: Candidates must hold a graduation degree in any stream from any recognized university or college.
Theater Work: Candidates must have participated in minimum six theatre productions.
Age Limit: The minimum age limit is 18 years and maximum is 30 years as or on 1st July 2018. Five year age relaxation will be prescribed for the SC/ST candidates.
Language: Candidates must have working knowledge of English and Hindi.

No, only diploma is available for acting in NSD or FTII.
