To get admission into AIIMS Rishikesh via AIIMS Nursing exam, you must attain the requisite rank in as per the category-wise cutoff. According to the cutoff ranks released for the General AI category candidates, the ranks closed at a range of 5 and 657. For the OBC AI category, the cutoff ranks varied  between 17 and 1335.

AIIMS Rishikesh Nursing cutoff 2024 was concluded for admission to BSc and MSc specialisations. The cutoff was released for General, OBC, SC, ST and EWS categories belonging to the All India quota. Among the General AI category, the cutoff ranks were closed between 5 and 657. Therefore among the General AI category candidates, getting admission at 150 rank is possible. The specialisations available at this rank would include B.Sc. (Hons.) in Nursing

Among OBC AI category candidates, the last round closing ranks were between the range of 17 and 1335. Among the OBC AI category candidates, a few specialisations available were M.Sc.

The UP CNET application process is expected to begin in March 2026. The UP CNET application forms will be available till April  2026. Candidates need to visit the official website, abvmuup.edu.in to fill out the UP CNET application form online. The UP CNET official notification is expected to release in March 2026.

Candidates with minimum age for admission is 17 years on or before 31st December 2025 can apply for the nursing entrance exam. It is mandatory to have passed class 12 with Physics, Chemistry and Biology (PCB) taken together. English must be a mandatory subject in Class 12. 45 per cent aggregate marks in PCB for general category candidates, and 40% marks in PCB for reserved category candidates are mandatory.

No, the UP Common Nursing Entrance Test (CNET) - 2026 nursing entrance exam will tentatively be scheduled in May 2026. It is an offline (Pen & Paper Mode) state-level nursing entrance exam. It will be held for a duration of 140 minutes. The entrance exam grants admission to both the BSc Nursing Course (4 years) and Post Basic BSc Nursing Course (2 Years) programmes.

The UP CNET exam is conducted by Atal Bihari Vajpayee Medical University (ABVMU), UP, Lucknow for admission to the BSc nursing programme. The UP CNET entrance exam has been instituted for candidates aiming to pursue nursing course in the state of Uttar Pradesh. It is an offline (Pen & Paper Mode) exam which is held once a year.

The exam is conducted once a year to grant admission to top UG-level nursing colleges in Chhattisgarh. The difficulty level of any entrance exam depends upon the preparation of the aspirant. If the aspirant has prepared thoroughly and has practiced a lot of previous year papers and mock tests, then he/she AIIMS nursing entrance exam might find the exam easy. Generally, as per the student review of the AIIMS nursing entrance exam, it is a moderately difficult exam. Being one of the highly coveted nursing entrance exam, the competition to seek admission in the AIIMS campuses is high.
