The biotechnology is a rapidly developing field. Many private businesses are exploring this field and heavily investing in it. It is safe to say that there are ample job opportunities for Biotechnology graduates in private sector. Government sector too offers job opportunities, but not in the scale in which private sector does.
Some prominent industries where biotechnology professionals may find jobs are- PharmaceuticalsiIndustry, Healthcare sector, chemical industry and research sector.
On the other hand, after completion of the nursing course, there are various career opportunities available. The nurses can get jobs in both government and private sectors. Mostly they work in areas like government and private hospitals, nursing homes, old age homes, orphanages, various industries, sanatoriums and armed forces. So, it depends on where your interest lies and then you can take a call accordingly.

The basic eligibility for the course includes the following:
Candidates should have a Bachelors degree in any discipline which includes Science, Commerce, Arts, Law, Agriculture, MBBS, BDS, BHMS, B.Sc. nursing, BPT, BAMS, B.Sc. Allied Health Science, Veterinary Sciences, and B.Sc. Pharm from any recognized Indian university with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate.
Candidates with Indian citizenship can apply under general category, whereas NRI/Foreign students can apply under the Foreign or NRI category.
Candidates have completed 3 years Graduate Degree in any discipline successfully or candidates should possess four years Graduate Degree in Paramedical Sciences, medicine, and other four years program, such as Veterinary Sciences, Pharmacy, Agriculture, Law, and Engineering.
Candidates should have accomplished their Internship before applying for the course.
The programmes enable individuals to take on leadership roles by equipping them with training in planning, project and operational management, financial, material and human resource management. An entry-level position as Assistant Medical Superintendent could command between Rs. 40,000-50,000 and then go up to Rs. 50,000-55,000 as Deputy Medical Superintendents, then close to Rs. 1 Lakh as Medical Superintendent.

B.Sc in Physiotherapy is an undergraduate course in science. The duration of the course is 3 to 4 years (depending on the University that offers the course). The course study mainly covers the method and techniques used in the eradication of diseases via physical exercises. The modern methods in physiotherapy treatment such as electrotherapy, rehabilitation therapy, etc are also covered under the course. Further, physiotherapy also has a vast range of career options to choose. People can either work in India or go abroad and flourish their career in physiotherapy.
