For nursing, it is compulsory that a particular student should complete class 12th with physics, chemistry, biology and English. So, a non-med student can't pursue nursing.

There are many types of nursing courses available. The minimum qualification is 12th for the basic general nursing and midwife course.
These undergraduate / Diploma courses fetch good jobs.
No courses are available after class 10th.

The course choice has to made by you. Know what your career plans and interests are and decide. I understand your angst. But I hope you appreciate that any specialisation in nursing can not be done via correspondence. However, if you want to keep yourself occupied then I would suggest you to check different courses offered by IGNOU. You may find one that you like.
