Hi, STEP is more hands-on with heaps of practical training, in addition to practical training in a hotel of The Oberoi Group, you are enrolled for a Bachelor's Degree in Tourism Studies (BTS) from the Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU). But with STEP, you're restricted to working only with The Oberoi Group. Qualities they are looking for
1. A positive attitude with a desire for excellence
2. Good communication skills in English
3. Strong interpersonal skills
4. Initiative, drive and an eye for detail
5. Team orientation
Just be confident while answering them. All the best!

Hi, In Oberoi STEP, students have to work in Oberoi hotels during their course and they give IGNOU Exam every semester. Step is more of a practical programme where the students learn by working in the industry and not in classroom. It's a college where apart from your studies you can get involved in extra curricular activities etc. which will help in your overall development. There is no cut-off as such to apply for Oberoi STEP exam. You should have cleared XII examination, as on July 1, 2018, from any board that is recognised by the Indira Gandhi National Open University, India (IGNOU). .

IHM is the best course to pursue if you wish to have broader career choices. Both IIHM and Oberios are good, but given a preference, go for IHM first and then think of getting into any one of these two.
