Obstetrics Gynecology

Gynecology is the study of the female body. The scope for gynecology is excellent as there is all time demand for one since they deal with not only women's health but also aid with fertility and pregnancy. Mostly women prefer women gynecologists even though men too explore their career in this field and there are male doctors who are surgeons aiding women in delivery during child birth. Steps to become a Gynecologist
1. Do MBBS after qualifying NEE UG
2. After obtaining the MBBS Apply for NEET PG and clear the entrance and attend the counselling session Pick up an allotted college and get admitted. Finish the specialisation in obstetrician gynecology Obtain your Masters degree.
3. You are now good to practice it at a hospital or clinic
So M.Sc. In Psychology students are not eligible to become as Gynecologists.

You can go for MS after BAMS but for post graduation in Obs Gyna MD in gynecology and Obstetrics you need to have an MBBS degree. After completion of B.A. MS if the candidate wants to pursue MD in Gynecology then the candidate have to complete MBBS first then only he/she will be eligible to pursue the post graduation degree course to become MD in gynecology which will again take around 2 years to complete this degree course. In order to pursue the MD course the candidate needs to appear for NEET PG examination and have to pass it then the candidates will be allotted to their colleges/institutions based on the marks obtain by them and to pursue MBBS course the candidates must have scored a minimum of 60% in his 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry and Biology as the main subjects.
