Yes, an online Computer Science programme carries the same academic value and repuatation as the one delivered on-campus. The degree, diploma, and transcripts show no difference between the two formats.

The experience is different for both. The on-campus programme allows for more in-person networking and faculty interaction. The online programme is better for working professionals short on time.

Yes, online courses at DMU Leicester carry the same value and status as campus-based courses. The degrees meet the same academic standards as traditional courses.

The degree awarded will look exactly like the same as presented to a student on-campus.

For LM Thapar School of Management, the online GD/PI is pretty straightforward — they're not trying to trick you, just understand how you think.

In GD (if conducted):
They'll see how you:

  • Express ideas clearly

  • Listen and build on others' points

  • Stay relevant (not just speak a lot)

In PI:
Focus is on:

  • Your basics (academics, work if any)

  • Why MBA + why Thapar

  • Clarity of goals

  • Communication and confidence

Online format also means they notice:

  • How clearly you speak

  • Your presence (eye contact, not reading off screen)

Simple tip: be genuine, structured, and calm. You don't need fancy answers — just clarity 👍
