The Executive MBA course at PDEU SoM is divided into a total of four semesters. Candidates enrolled in the course are required to study 6 subjects per semester. Candidates will have the option to choose the field they wish to specialise in their year. Candidates can choose from the following specialisations:
- General Management (HR/Marketing/Finance/Operations)
- Energy Sector Management (Petroleum Management/ Power Sector Management)

Pandit Deendayal Energy University offers a two-year Executive MBA course for candidates wishing to enter the field of Management and Business. The eligibility criteria for the Executibe MBA programme at SoM PDEU is as follows:
- Candidates must have a recognised UG degree with a minimum of 50% aggregate
- A relaxation of 5% in the required UG aggregate is given to candidates from the reserved category
- Candidates must have a minimum of three years of work-experience after acquiring their UG degree

The PDEU M.Tech application fee is INR 500 for each branch. Candidates can make the payment through netbanking/credit card/debit card or UPI. Candidates are advised to keep the payment receipt carefully till the PDEU M.Tech admission process.

Yes, candidates can apply for more than one branch subject to eligibility. Candidates must provide their choices at the time of filling PDEU M.Tech application form. First preference is given to GATE-qualified candidates, later to the non-GATE candidates.

- Must have completed BTech or BE by August (of current academic year) with a minimum 50% marks of 5.5 CGPA or CPI

The last date to apply for PDEU M.Tech is June 2, 2025. The mode of the PDEU M.Tech 2025 application form is online. Candidates applying for the university must fill out and submit the application form before the due date.

Yes, Pandit Deendayal Energy University offer financial assistance to M.Tech students. The details of PDEU M.Tech financial assistance can be checked below -
- Financial assistance offered to qualified candidates with a valid GATE score - INR 12,400 per month
- Financial assistance offered to students without a GATE score - INR 8000 per month (if GATE seats remain vacant)

No, Pandit Deendayal Energy University does not conduct any entrance exam for M.Tech admissions. Instead, the PDEU M.Tech admission is done based on the GATE scores, followed by a personal interview. Selection is done in two phases- phase I for GATE-qualified candidates and the phase II is done for the non-GATE candidates. A merit list is prepared for GATE scores and the personal interview will be conducted based on the candidate's performance in GATE exam.
