Dear students.
According to some sources, the Central University of Punjab (CUP) does not accept GATE scores or other entrance exam scores. However, other sources say that candidates with a valid GATE score are given preference over other applicants.
To apply to CUP, you can: -
1) Visit the university's official website,
2) Click on the tab for the online admission form,
3) Read the eligibility norms and other important instructions,

The total tuition fee for BA LLB ranges betwen INR 3.23 Lacs and INR 5.27 lakh. This fee, however, is sourced from an unofficial sources. Hence, is indicative. Other than the course fee, students are required to pay the registration fee for the university-level entrance exam. The fee range indicates the fee for different PU-affiliated colleges that offer BA LLB programme to the students. To be eligible for BA LLB from Panjab University, any candidate who has already passed or is in Class 12, under CBSE or any other recognised board, can appear for the university-level entrance exam. The admission for candidates who are in Class 12 will be provisional and will stand cancelled if they fail to satisfy the requisite eligibility conditions laid down by Panjab University by the date fixed for the admission. For final admission, however, students must have completed Class 12 with 50% aggregate.

Over the years, many top recruiters, such as Amazon, Infosys and Samsung, etc. are picking PU students for various job roles across different courses. Taking about BA LLB, while the placement rate of the university has improved during placements 2021 compared to the past two years, the median salary offered to the students has fallen drastically. During 2021 placements, the median salary offered to BA LLB of PU stood at INR 0.5 LPA compared to INR 2.16 LPA in 2020 and INR 2.50 LPA in 2019.
