In the allied healthcare sector, Medical Laboratory technology is fast gaining importance. Clinical Laboratory tests aid the diagnosis and treatment of diseases. They have become key elements in the treatment of physiological conditions of the body. The examination conducted by the physician is supported by laboratory investigations of the specimens. Bachelor of Science (Medical Laboratory Technology) course offered by the Moulana College of Paramedical Sciences is recognized by Kerala Paramedical Council, Government of Kerala and affiliated to Kerala University of Health Sciences, Thrissur.
Eligibility for BSc MLT
Pass in Plus two Examination or any equivalent Examination approved by government with physics, chemistry and biology with an average of 50% marks.
Admission procedure:
Total number of seats available - 30
50% of the students are admitted from government merit list and 50% of the students are admitted under management quota.
Scheme of Examination:
Sessional Examination: 3 sessional examinations shall be conducted during each year in each subjects and the average of best of two examinations shall constitute the sessional marks awarded in theory and practical separately.
