It depends on the specific paramedical course you have a diploma in and the course you want to apply for at AIIMS. Here's why:

  • AIIMS offers Bachelor of Science (BSc) degrees in various paramedical fields, while diplomas are typically for lower-level qualifications.
  • Upward mobility might be possible: If the diploma you hold is relevant to the BSc course you target at AIIMS, then applying could be possible.

As per the trend of the previous years, the difficulty level of AIIMS paramedical nursing exam ranges from easy to moderately difficult questions in the exam. Candidates who appear for the exam have reported that though AIIMS paramedical is a highly competitive exam, the expected cutoff remain higher. However, in comparison to other entrance exams such as NEET UG and AIIMS Nursing it is easy to attempt.

The syllabus for the AIIMS paramedical entrance exam is prepared by the exam-conducting authorities at AIIMS Delhi itself. This means the faculty and subject matter experts at AIIMS design the curriculum to assess the knowledge required for their specific paramedical programs.
