In case the candidate cancels his or her admission, the fee is refunded as per the below policy of SOT PDEU:
- If a candidate applies for cancellation of his/ her admission through email/ in-person, the fees
paid shall be refunded after deduction of INR 1,000 as administrative charges, only if such
vacated seat gets filled up the latest by the start of the semester. - Candidates shall be required to submit the original receipt of the fees paid for refund in the
prescribed form.

The intake for each MTech specialisation is 18. 50% seats are earmarked for candidates having valid and qualified GATE scores. Candidates can get a seat in M.Tech based on GATE score or performance in the personal interview round. Find below some of the SOT PDEU M.Tech specialisation-wise intake:

Candidates who have complete a bachelor's degree with at least 50% aggregate or CPI/ CGPA of 5.5 in 10 point scale in the qualifying degree in relevant subjects can apply for SOT PDEU M.Tech course. The subject requirement varies specialisation-wise for M.Tech programme. Aspirants applying for M.Tech must hold the documents proving their eligibility for verification at later stages of admission.
