Yes slightly better than sastra university  as far fees is concerned  the fees is slightly less than sastra university. You can get more engineering streams as compared to sastra and curriculum is good no burden on the students as far as exams is concerned.

You can get good industrial knowledge  in thus university and faculty is also far better than any pvt university as far as main campus is concerned.   From placement perspective salary around 20 Lacs is given upto 60 percent students and uptov50 Lacs to 5 to 10 percent student which is also  a big deal as compared to sastra university.

The opinion is good about this university as well as curriculum or placement is considered.

People may vary thier  opinion about other campuses of this university some other campus such as delhi campus is good but its courses is limited and placement is just fair but its main campus  is very good where you can get good exposure and  placement is also very good from thier main campus. You can get annual salary upto 20 Lacs from this university  in some cases few computer Science students get salary upto 50 Lacs per annum.

You have to score 70 percent marks in class 12 with PCM and English as your subject in class 12. Then you must score 95 to 97 percentile in JEE Mains or must score 120 to 150 marks in thier entrance for B.Tech admission

If you score around 120 then you will get a basic core engineering branch like Computer Science and IT or ECE if you score between 135 to 150 mark.

Not compulsory but you can take admission by JEE marks almost 40 percent seats for b tech courses are fulfilled by JEE exam score and 60 percent seats areful filled by thier own entrance test exam mode.

So if you score good marks around 120 out of 200 in thus university entrance exam so you can get the sear and for JEE exam it is around 95 to 97 percentile.

I think the answer is no because both universities are private university and both are good university as far as curriculum is concerned so both the universities charges almost tge same amount of fees for thier subjects.

As far as btech  courses is concerned  periyar University charges 70000 per sem and sastra also acharges 72000 per sem which is not a big difference and devplment fees and hostel fees is almost same approximately 20000 per year .

As far MBA is concerned sastra charges 1 Lacs per se. Where periyar charge 80000 per sem  so here periyar is less expensive than sastra university.

For other courses you also

Yes you can easily join this university with 70 percent marks the most important criteria is to get pcm and secure at least 65 percent to get the admission in this university the next criteria is to qualify the JEE Mains exam to get the admission or you can go for the admission test of this university if you qualify any one of the exams then you will get the admission after securing at least 65 percent marks in pcm or pcb for life sciences courses.
