The total tutition fee for Department of Atomic Energy Centre for Excellence in Basic Sciences, Mumbai University PhD is INR 24,000. This information is sourced from official website/ sanctioning body and is subject to change. The fee for a Ph.D. programme at Madras University varies based on different criteria. For Indian students, the fees are as follows:

• For full-time research students in the Science department: Rs. 8,000 per annum
• For foreign students in the Arts department: Rs. 60,000 per annum.
• For foreign students in the Science department: Rs. 1,00,000 per annum

The application fee per department is INR 1,000 for the General/ Gen-EWS/ OBC category and INR 500 for SC/ST/PWD/Female category candidates. This amount is completely non-refundable. Futher, candidates also have to pay for refundable caution deposit of INR 10,000 ( one-time) & admission fee (one-time) of INR 5,000 at the time of admission. The thesis fee will be INR 15,000, which is to be paid at the time of submission of PhD synopsis)

Additionally, the scholars will be provided with free shared accommodation in the hostel and Married scholars will be provided campus accommodation at a nominal rent. 

The fees for PhD in Management for the academic year INR 1.9 lakh excluding the fee payable to University of Mumbai as applicable.
