Yes for sure. Since B.Tech is a professional course hence it's considered equivalent to conventional Masters courses like M.Sc. Etc. There are various IITs which directly admit students after B.Tech for PhDs ( like IIT Kanpur and IIT Gandhinagar). You should have great academic and research profile and top GATE rank. For joining Ph.D. after B.Tech, At first you have to crack GATE examination. Your B.Tech CGPA must be 8 or 9+. You have to prepare a good SOP (Study of Purpose) and a good SOR (Statement of Research).
