This course is open to all MA (Mass Communication & Journalism, Communication & MCJ) graduates with NET (JRF) qualification. The full-time programme requires students to stay on the campus and complete their research within five years. Admission to the Ph.D programme is through an all India Entrance Test. Candidates who clear the entrance test will be called for an interview. At the interview, candidates will be required to defend the proposal they have written in the entrance test. What happened? From B.Tech in CSE to literature! Of course you must follow your passion and heart. This only will give you happiness. Normally integrated courses offer graduation with PG. But PhD is a different cup of tea. You can choose any college that is convenient to you to begin MA. Then you can choose your guide &research topic.

You can do your Ph.D from a recognised university with your B.Tech credentials. Qualifying exam are GATE, CSIR, UGC NET and ICAR.

Academically, you are eligible. However, for PhD admissions, you must also be accepted by a supervisor so you have to visit university websites and find universities offering research activities in your field. Thereafter, you need to contact the department supervisor alongwith your research questions and topics, they will get back to you if they like what you wrote. Follow ups will be necessary.
