The first and basic qualification required for a Ph.D course is that you must have completed your Master's degree course. To apply for Ph.D, you can either directly apply to the professors of different universities sending them your resume, Statement of purpose and your research papers. You should launch Google search on the area of your interest and should start communicating with the universities found in your search on costs, prerequisites, acceptability and feasibilities. One important factor you need to consider is also possibilities of getting job and opportunities to settle down after Ph.D, as you know overseas Ph.Ds do not receive a big welcome in India and even Harvard or Cambridge legends of Indian origin are unwanted in India, while Ph.D from Bilaspur will get greater value within India for other reasons.
