For pursuing Ph.D, one has to first clear the mandatory entrance exam or eligibility exam. Then, look for University approved guide in your subject who will accept you as research scholar. Then, decide on the topic of research under guidance of the guide. Register it with University and start off with the research. In Coimbatore, there are many places viz Karunya, Amrita, PSG college etc. Who offer this programme. You need to approach one of these personally and start off. Best wishes.
