BPT Course: Admission Process
Interested eligible candidates are offered admission to the course in India mostly on the basis of performance in a relevant institute-specific entrance test. Often subsequently, two additional rounds of Group Discussion and Personal Interview are held for assessment of the candidates general aptitude for the course. JIPMER All India Entrance Exam. Basic eligibility for a course in BPT is that candidates should have cleared their class 12 examination from a recognised university, in the Science stream, with Physics, Chemistry and Biology as main subjects. A minimum aggregate score of 50% or equivalent CGPA at the 10+2 level (45% for SC/ST/OBC candidates). Regards.

The admission is purely based on merit obtained in the common entrance examination conducted by institutes offering the course- both MS and MS programs. Candidates qualifying the written examination are called for rounds of counselling and interview.
Selection of applicants is based on educational qualification, marks obtained in university exams/ any PG entrance exams, work experience, and performance in rounds of personal interview and group discussion.
Often, scholarships for pursuance of MPT are awarded to deserving and meritorious candidates, subject to availability of funds.
