Combined Defence Services and Air Force Common Admission Test (AFACT) are the only options for getting admission in Indian Air Force. CDS exam is conducted by Union Public Service Commission, While AFCAT by Indian Air Force. Both exams are conducted twice a year by the respective conducting authority. The eligibility criteria of both are given below. Eligibility criteria of CDS for Air Force :
Age :19 years to 23 years (Candidates below 25 years of age must be unmarried. )
Educational qualifications : Graduation (with Physics and Mathematics at Class 12) or Bachelor of Engineering. Eligibility criteria through AFCAT :

The eligibility criteria of commercial pilot license (CPL) of IGRUA Raebareli is given below for an idea. Eligibility criteria (For general candidates) : (I) Must have passed English with minimum 50% marks at 10+2 or equivalent. (ii)Must have passed Maths & Physics with minimum 50% aggregate marks at 10+2 or equivalent. So from above if you have studied English, Physics and Mathematics at 10+2 level, than can eligible only. Commerce background students of 10+2 are not eligible for the CPL course.
