Conrad Sangma, the Chief Minister of Meghalaya since 2018, also pursued his studies at the Imperial College. Conrad pursued an MBA at the college. Before that, he also completed an BBA in Entrepreneurial Management at the Wharton School of the University of the Pennsylvania, in the US.
He started his political career in the late 90s, as the campaign manager for his father, PA Sangma, of the Nationalist Congress Party.

Tim Walz, the 41st governor of Minnesota is a notable alumni of MSU Mankato. Walz graduated with a MS in Educational Leadership from the institute in 2001.
Walz was also a nominee from the Democratic party for the US Vice Presidential Elections of 2024, and has formerly served as a non-commissioned officer in the United States Army.

Christine Lambrecht, former Federal Minister of Defence of Germany graduated in Law from the Mannheim Uni in 1992.
She served as the defence minister between 2021 to 2023, as part of former German chancellor: Olaf Scholz's government. She spent 23 years (1998-2021) in the German parliament.
