Dear student,
Polytechnics usually need a Science background to get into Mechanical Engineering. Since you belong to the Arts stream, direct entry may not be feasible. Nevertheless, some institutes or states do have other means, like preparatory courses or certain eligibility concessions. It is best to consult the institutes of your choice for precise requirements.
All the very best, hoping this help.

Hello,
For seeking admission to Government Residential Women's Polytechnic, Latur for Computer Engineering, you would have to appear for the Maharashtra Polytechnic Admission Process, which is commonly on the basis of SSC (10th) marks. Admission is made by the Directorate of Technical Education (DTE), Maharashtra through the Centralized Admission Process (CAP).
In case you come under a reserved category, you can also have relaxation in the cutoff.
Wishing you all the very best for your admission.
