There is no much difference ibetween appling to Pratt Institut and other universities in USA. The process and the documents required is almost similar. Some key pointers are: Undergraduate applicants have two options: Early Action or Regular Decision, both of which are non-binding. Applications open in August each year, and deadlines vary depending on the program. Transfer students must apply using the Pratt online application, and international students must submit English proficiency test scores within two years of the priority deadline of January 5th, 2024.

Like every institute, Pratt Institute also has both positive and negative aspects. Hpwever, makority of people's opinions on Pratt Institute have appreciated the academic structure is fantastic, with a focus on real-world experience and rigorous courses. The negative reviews encapsulates it being expensive, and some students have expressed concerns about the financial burden it places on their families. Also, the workload can be demanding, and students need to be prepared for nonstop work and competition.

For example, the School of Design requires a TOEFL score of 88, while the Dance/Movement Therapy M.S. programme requires a TOEFL score of 100.

The deadline to submit applications for Indian students at Pratt Institute vary depending on the program. For undergraduate programs, the priority deadline is January 15, 2024 whereas for graduate programs, the priority deadline is January 5, 2024. Apart from this, the English proficiency test scores must be within one year of the priority deadline of January 5th, and only scores dated January 5th, 2022 or later will be accepted at Pratt Institute.
