No, you cannot join PSGIM drectly. PSG Institute of Management offers two-year full-time programs approved by AICTE and affiliated to Anna University. Admission to PSG Institute of Management courses is merit as well as entrance-based. Candidates can apply for admission to their course of choice in online mode by visiting the official website. PSGIM accepts all three TANCET, MAT, CAT and AIMA scores for admission. Based on the TANCET scores, candidates can get admission to PSGIM. Therefore, direct admission to PSG Institute of Management is not possible, and candidates need to go through the admission process.

Yes, PSG Institute of Management (PSGIM) accepts CAT scores for admission to its MBA programme. The cutoff percentile for CAT for the general category is 60 percentile. Along with CAT, PSGIM also accepts scores of other management entrance exams such as MAT, TANCET, and ATMA. Since, all the reputed institutions have their own way of selection similarly PSG institute of management also has a specific pathway to select and offer admission to candidates. The applicants need to perform well and score good in the entrance exams that are MAT, CAT, ATMA and TANCET. But TANCET is not the only entrance exam to get into PSG college. If you want to get admission into certain courses like MBA, MTech, you may appear for TANCET. The institute also accepts GATE score for some courses
