You should have at least 50% in your UG to write TANCET. TANCET is an entrance examination for MBA and MCA.

You need to score good marks, around 90% in your XII EXAM including your main subject theory marks.

It has a total of 300 seats available for the BTech programme and admission to the course is based on Class 12th merit followed by TNEA Counselling.

Yes, Chemistry has good scope till humans exist.
If you want Chemistry oriented jobs and excepting decent pay, then B.Sc. is not quite enough in my experience and knowledge.
Because you may result with an 8 to 10 hr of job which pays you 10k-15k a month.
