PU-CET (PG) exam is conducted in the paper-based test mode. The exam is conducted for 1 hour and 30 minutes. The exam has five sections and 85 questions. Each section has equal number of multiple-choice questions. Each question carries one mark and has four options each. For every incorrect answer 0.25 marks will be deducted from the overall score. The total marks in the PU-CET (PG) exam is 85.

There will be a total of five sections, i.e. General Knowledge, Economics and Business Environment Awareness, Data Interpretation and Provlem Solving, Numerical Ability, Verbal Ability/ Reasoning and English Comprehension. Each question in all these sections will carry one mark each with four choices.

Yes, there are negative narks for incorrect answers in the PU-CET (PG) question paper. There are overall 75 multiple-choice questions in the PU-CET (PG). Students will be awarded one mark for each correct answer and there will be a negative marking of 0.25 marks for each incorrect answer marked by the student. The total marks of the PU CET (PG) question paper is 75 and the duration of the exam is 90 minutes of one hour 30 minutes.

The candidates appearing for the Entrance Test for admission to M.A. Economics in the Department of Economics, Panjab University, Chandigarh from the academic will be subject to the following eligibility conditions:
