Yes, you can apply through programs like Federal Skilled Worker. However, it is important that you have skilled work experience abroad. Also, you need to meet CRS point requirements, and fulfill other eligibility criteria set by IRCC. If you check all the points then you can easily get the Canadian PR.

Yes, IELTS is required for Canada Permanent Residency (PR), if you are applying through Express entry or PNP. However, IELTS is not the only exam for this.  TCF Canada, PTE Core, and CELPIP general are some good alternatives of IELTS exam for Canadian PR.

Yes, it is relatively easier to get a PR in Canada for international students. Many international students and their families have made Canada their home and become citizens. When international students finish their studies, they may want to start the immigration process to become a citizen. Steps to apply for permanent resident status are:

  • Apply for permanent resident status
  • Remain a citizen of your own country
  • Become a Canadian citizen when your immigration process is complete

Of course you can easily apply for Canada PR with an MBA degree. The best programme for you would be Canada Federal Skilled Worker programme which is managed under Express Entry system. But it is mandatory for you to get an Educational Credential Assessment (ECA) report from an authorized body to prove that the education you have gained in India is valid and equal to a competed Canadian credential.

Your chances of permanent immigration, whatsoever, are less than 10%. Let me give a data of last year. Last year, the number of registration we took for Canada immigration were 1813 including couples. The number of invitations received for Permanent Residency were less than 100 including PNP and French Candidates.

Medical would obviously be the better choice, just keep in mind that you cannot go to Canada with 10th marks. I would suggest B.Sc. Nursing.
