In order to pursue MA through PUCAT, candidates are required to meet the required eligibility criteria. Candidates can check the eligibility criteria for the MA at the official website of the exam as well on Shiksha page. The candidate should be a graduate from any stream and should have secured a minimum of 45% in their graduation from a recognised board.

The Purvanchal University Combined Admission Test (PUCAT) is conducted by the Veer Bahadur Singh Purvanchal University in order to offer students admission in various postgraduate courses. The exam is conducted annually and it is through qualifying PUCAT, that candidates are granted admission to the varsity. Through PUCAT, candidates can get admission in MBA, MA and MSc courses. The mode of the exam is offline and the medium of the entrance exam is English.

PUCAT is usually held in three shifts -

First Shift- 9:00 am to 11:00 am

Second Shift- 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm

Third Shift- 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm.

The PUCAT 2025 admit card will tentatively be released towards the end of June 2025 while the exam is likely to be conducted in July 2025.

It is expected that PUCAT 2025 registrations will start in April 2025. However, the exam body has not announced the dates yet. For PUCAT 2024, applications opened in March 2024. The last date to apply was extended until June 2024.
