The Purvanchal University Combined Admission Test (PUCAT) is conducted by the Veer Bahadur Singh Purvanchal University in order to offer students admission in various postgraduate courses. The exam is conducted annually and it is through qualifying PUCAT, that candidates are granted admission to the varsity. Through PUCAT, candidates can get admission in MBA, MA and MSc courses. PUCAT is usually held in three shifts -
First Shift- 9:00 am to 11:00 am
Second Shift- 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm
Third Shift- 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm.

It is expected that PUCAT 2025 registrations will start in April 2025. However, the exam body has not announced the dates yet. For PUCAT 2024, applications opened in March 2024. The last date to apply was extended until June 2024.
