Anybody who's an Indian national can apply for PUMDET. There is no upper age limit to be eligible for the exam. Since the entrance exam is of the postgraduate level, the exam body demands that the applicants must have studied their chosen subject in their undergraduate programme. However, this may vary from course to course. Applicants must have scored at least 50% or equivalent CGPA in the finals of their undergraduate programme. Reserved category candidates may get a 5% relaxation on this score number.
