PUMDET

PUMDET is conducted by the West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board, commonly known as WBJEEB. It manages several entrance exams in West Bengal every year.

PUMDET usually takes place in July every year. Since no notification or form is available till now, PUMDET exam may be conducted this year too. But final confirmation is still awaited.

As of now, PUMDET 2026 is not officially announced by the authorities. WBJEEB has not published any notice for PUMDET 2026 exam dates, application form, schedule. So students must wait for confirmation.

Applicants must upload scanned images of their photograph and signature while filling the PUMDET application form in the following specifications. 

Coloured, Passport-Sized Photograph: Size - 10KB to 200KB, Format - JPG/JPEG

 Signature: Size - 4KB to 30KB, Format - JPG/JPEG

Recovering PUMDET passwords is easy. In the login window for admit cards, results, etc., you will find a Forgot Password/ Forgot Application No. option. On clicking on these options, you will receive an email on your registered email ID with a link to reset your password. 

PUMDET 2025 is to be conducted on July 27, 2025. The applications for this Presidency University entrance exam are yet to open. However, it is predicted that the PUMDET application form will be available from April 2025. The application form and other notices for subsequent events will be available on the official website - wbjeeb.nic.in/pumdet/. 

The exact exam centre venues will be allotted to examinees at the descretion of the exam body. Details like address, reporting time, etc. will be mentioned in the PUMDET admit card. However, the exam body mentions the various exam zones where the exam will be conducted. These (any 2) can be chosen by exam takers while filling the PUMDET application form. They are as follows - 

The application correction window opens after the last date to fill the PUMDET application form. Applicant must remember that primary data like name, parent's name, date of birth, gender and domicile cannot be changed. Any other information other than that can be corrected when this window is live. To do this, they will be required to log in using their login creds.

Once applicants are done filling out the PUMDET application form and paying the application fee, the system generates a confirmation page. The exam's detailed notification mentions that if this page does not pop on your screen, your application is incomplete. Once the application form is complete, you must see a 'Download Confirmation Page' option.
