If you are living in Pune go for PICT CSE and vice versa for SPIT but if you are ready to live in Hostels then definitely go for SPIT CSE.

You can get amission in VIT, Pune in

  1. B.Tech Chemical Engineering
  2. B.Tech Instrumentation & Control Engineering
  3. B.Tech Mechanical Engineering as it requires lower percentile than the above mentioned but other courses require 96% and above for admission

And you cannot get into PICT ENTC as it requires 97% and above for cut-off.

Hello, Yes, you can definitely apply and appear for JEE Mains. But for admission in NITs/IIITs and GFTIs you must have 75% in boards (65% for SC ST) as per the eligibility criteria. However you can secure admission in other private colleges through JEE Mains examination and you can get any branch of your choice based on your rank.

I would suggest VJTI IT over PICT CS as VJTI is a better college when compared to PICT as it is one of the oldest engineering colleges in Asia.

If you want to study further like M.Tech so you should go for NIT. But you want placements you should go for CSE branch in PICT as it has the highest package of 91 LPA in CSE branch.
