There are different percentage criteria for different programmes provided by the SD College Chandigarh. This college provides over 15 programmes which include UG, PG, certificate and doctoral programme. Here’s a table explaining the percentage criteria of different programmes at SD College Chandigarh:

No, there is no entrance exam needed to be admitted to Santana Dharma College Chandigarh (SD College). Admission is merit-based at this university. Students need to apply to the official website of the college and fill out the admission form. They must also meet the eligibility criteria and are required to a non-refundable registration fee. After the process is completed, the final seat allotment is merit based.

Admissions to the MBA programme is based on the merit ranking in the entrance exam like CAT, MAT, NMAT, SAT, CMAT, etc. Candidates who hasn't appeared for these entrance exams can apply and appear for the Chitkara University test conducted by the university itself. This entrance exam is followed by group discussion and personal interview. The admission to students are decided by the institution. 12 years of schooling with a minimum of 50% aggregate and 50% in Undergraduate programme is the minimum eligibility criteria for the course.

Placements at Chandigarh University are better than PRIST University. The B.Tech placements at PRIST is INR 3.65 LPA to 4 LPA.
However, the B.Tech placements are very high at CU. The highest package offered was INR 150 LPA and 54.6 LPA for international and Domestic processes. The average package still remains at INR 20 LPA. Microsoft, Google, Amazon, IBM, Arcesium, Adobe, Deloitte, Morgan Stanley, Qualcomm, Philips, Goldman Sachs, Toshiba, etc are the top recruiters of the university.

The highest salary package that was offered to the students of Chitkara Business School, Chandigarh is INR 42 Lacs per annum. The average package offered to the students was INR 8 Lacs per annum. The college has not released the placement report for the year 2023. However according to the report of 2022, over 100 students received PPO and more than 30 students received international offers. More than 250 companies hired students across 26 sectors. Above 110 students were given dream offers that were above 10 Lacs per annum. The top recruiters are Adobe, Zomato, Airtel, Nestle, HDFC Bank and Flipkart.

There is no best course. It depends on your interest and passion. If you have an interest or passion in a course like Diploma or any other. It is the best course.

You can get job easily after completing DOEACC ‘O' Level. but like you have to learn other skills, based on your interest you can choose any programming language I will suggest choose Front End technology like node.js, Reach Js with PHP also. Initially you face some issue to get job but once you get first job every thing will be much easy.

Both are same. DOEACC (Department of Electronics and Accreditation of Computer Courses) is renamed to NIELIT (National Institute of Electronics and Information Technology). They have changed the syllabus of the Non-formal courses during the same period. I personally felt their approach and functionality improved after name change. They have added many new courses with the existing courses.

Direct Admission B.Sc. Medical care is not available in the Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) in Chandigarh. Instead, they are based on merit and secured status in GMCH Joint Entrance Test (GCET). For eligibility, a candidate must have passed Class 12 or equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English as compulsory subjects, with a minimum aggregate of 45% (40% for SC candidates).
